GENERAL INFORMATION TO CANDIDATE

1. Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower for holders of First degree and Lower Credit for HND holders. In addition applicants must possess credit in English Language and Mathematics and 3 additional credits in subjects related to degree course of study. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
2. Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exception from NYSC at the time of applying for DSSC.
3. Applicants must possess certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria where applicable.
4. Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 meters tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 meters tall.
5. Applicants should be between 22 and 30 years of age by 31st December 2012 except Serving Personnel who will be considered for Branch Commission if not more than 35 years of age. (Any age declaration done later than 5 years of this exercise will not be acceptable).Those who will be older than 30 years by 31st December 2012 need not apply.
6. Applicants will be shortlisted for qualifying aptitude test and the result placed on the website, while advert will also be published in national dailies.
7. Applicants are to make a choice from the centers below for the Zonal Enlistment Exercise where aptitude tests will be conducted.

8. Applicants are to save the completed forms, Click on the "PAY APPLICATION FEE" Button on the APPLICATION SUMMARY page and then print out the PAY4ME ACKNOWLEDGEMENT slip to effect payment at any branch of INTERCONTINENTAL BANK or STERLING BANK or UBA BANK or UNION BANK.
9. The date for Zonal Enlistment Exercise will be communicated to applicants in due course. Shortlisted Applicants are to bring the following to the Zonal Enlistment Centers:

10. Applicants are warned against giving false information as information supplied will be used to evaluate your suitability for shortlisting at any particular stage. Any false information discovered at any stage will lead to disqualification of the applicant.

11. Further to Paragraph 8 above, applications will only be processed and validated after payment. Thereafter the Applicants will then print out the following:

12. Applicant's Local Government Attestation form must be signed by a military officer who hails from the state of the applicant and not below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, and Police Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and above. Local Government Chairman / Secretary, Magistrates and Principals of government secondary schools from applicants’ state of origin can also sign the attestation forms.
13. Additionally, applicants are to bring with them letters of attestation of good character from Two (2) prominent persons from their state of origin to the officer in charge of the Zonal Enlistment Exercise.
14. Photocopies of all documents and credentials will be collected from applicants after screening during Zonal Enlistment Exercise and Interview.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES FOR RECRUITMENT INTO THE NIGERIAN NAVY BASIC TRAINING SCHOOL (NNBTS Batch 21)

1. Candidates should possess any of the following educational and/Professional qualifications (see Guide to Candidates on Educational Requirements for Entry Category): a) West African School Certificate/Senior Secondary School Certificate. b) General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level. c) WAEC City and Guilds or London City and Guild. d) Ordinary National Diploma (OND). e) Any other educational qualification equivalent to those mentioned above. f) All candidates must produce their primary school leaving certificate. g) Candidates are to note that entry requirement into the following categories is SSCE or equivalent: B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, C1, D1, D2, D4, D5, D6, E1, E2, E3, E4, F1, G, H. Any other additional qualifications in these categories can only serve as an added advantage for selection into the branch and not for advancement. See the guide for details. 2. Any candidate possessing higher educational/professional qualification, i.e. HND, BA,/BSC etc other than those stated in paragraph 1 (a-g) should not apply. Candidates are therefore warned that it is an offence to declare false education/professional qualification. This attracts outright withdrawal or dismissal. 3. Any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered and accepted during the recruitment exercise will not be acceptable after recruitment and cannot be tendered for the purpose of change of category or promotion while in the Naval service. Installing the software

1. Quit all applications running on your computer.
2. Insert the installation disc into your DVD drive, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: The free trial version of Adobe Premiere Pro software does not include some features that depend upon software licensed from parties other than Adobe. For example, some codecs for encoding MPEG formats are available only with the full version of Adobe Premiere Pro software.

License activation

During the installation process, your Adobe software contacts Adobe to complete the license activation process. No personal data is transmitted. For more information on product activation, visit the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/go/activation.
A single-user retail license activation supports two computers. For example, you can install the product on a desktop computer at work and on a laptop computer at home. If you want to install the software on a third computer, first deactivate it on one of the other two computers. Choose Help > Deactivate.

Registration

Registration of your product helps you to receive complimentary installation support, notifications of updates, and other services.
 To register, follow the on-screen instructions in the Registration dialog box, which appears after you install the software.

If you postpone registration, you can register at any time by choosing Help > Registration.

Adobe Product Improvement Program

After you have used your Adobe software a certain number of times, a dialog box appears, asking whether you want to participate in the Adobe Product Improvement Program.
If you choose to participate, data about your use of Adobe software is sent to Adobe. No personal information is recorded or sent. The Adobe Product Improvement Program only collects information about the features and tools that you use in the software and how often you use them.
You can opt in to or opt out of the program at any time:

• To participate, choose Help > Adobe Product Improvement Program and click Yes, Participate.
