JOB TITLE: MANAGER FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
LOCATION: Lagos
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide domain expertise in planning, organising, directing and controlling the account operations of the organisation
Prepare overall finance and Accounting MIS to aid business in developing their objectives and strategies
Finalization of periodic financial statements and cost overhead allocation.
Responsible for all activities related to core Financial Accounting, review and strengthening financial and internal controls
Evaluate various financial proposals including capex proposals, look at various expenses controls and reduction measures
Provide timely, accurate and useful financial information to the business
Ensure proper classification and presentation of financial information
Budget planning for the year
Responsibility to consolidate into a group budget
Manage organisation’s resources within budget guidelines according to the company’s rules and regulation
Short, Minimum Long term planning and budgeting for the business and monitor performance against plan.
Prepare capex requirements for analysis and presentation in standard format; ROI, payback, cash flow etc. analyses, monitor progress, adjust cash flow projections according; after implementation, monitor compliance and monthly and quarterly variance analysis against approved assumptions.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENT
First class BSc holder in Accounting
Must have ICWA/CA
10 to 12 years cognate experience in relevant field.
Must have overall knowledge of tally, comfortable with MS office and MS Project and working knowledge of EPR
