OUR COMPANY:
GlobalProfilers is a recruitment & HR Services firm; we are currently looking for Program Director, Branchless Financial Services for our client, a pioneering mobile payments operator. The Company is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Director is responsible for overall leadership and take initiative in areas such as refinement of product designs, relationship-building with partners, and development of the key operational processes within the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders across Nigeria on development of planned suite of branchless financial services products
Formulate and implement strategies for growing the network of the new products’ customers and agents
Design a monitoring and evaluation framework for the new product
Prepare monthly and annual operational reports regarding all aspects of the initiative. Project insights to be shared in various forms including blogs, monthly updates, reports, etc.
Responsible for budgeting and accounting for utilization of project funds, human and material resources, and other assets.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that priorities are explicit, schedule is adhered to, and that the team is advancing appropriately towards goals
Travel to various locations in Nigeria to monitor the new products’ related activity and build relationships with stakeholder
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; Project Management experience (or certification) will be an added advantage
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ work experience with at least 2 years spent in a developing country
Must have a demonstrated interest in financial sector development and/or information technology’s usage in development
Must have a strong leadership and team-building experience.
Must have a good understanding of developing markets, consumer preferences and trends
Must have the ability to influence and advice stakeholders, peers and the executive committee
Must be an excellent planner and organizer. The individual must demonstrate good business and commercial awareness
Must have excellent report-writing and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize data into comprehensive reports for all levels of staff
Must be computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must have a passion for ideas and willingness to learn new things
Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up business environment
